Autumn 2011 update

12:26 am email newsletter

Autumn in the UK has been very mild. This hasn’t stopped me from escaping to other countries and experiencing their climates, scenery, art, shopping and collecting foreign gnomes. See my places to visit section for photos.

I’ve finished creating my portfolio website dianeashmore.com, which gives an overview of some of the work I’ve been doing. One of my projects is to feature in Making magazine next year as well as an interview with me in their Q&A section. Watch my blog for more details.

I’ve added to my ever-expanding selection of crafts projects with examples of a few greetings cards. Find out more and how to make your own greetings cards with these two projects: Snowflake Card and Owl Card.

Feeling blocked artistically or creatively? I’ve explored a solution called The Artist’s Date. It’s a date that will take you away from negative thoughts to leave you feeling inspired.
