Make a robin Christmas card

Robin Christmas card

Make a really simple Christmas card from a parcel tag, string or ribbon and a robin card topper. I made my robin but you can buy card toppers in the shape of robins from any good craft supplier.

You will need:

  • string or ribbon
  • parcel tags
  • Merry Christmas stamps and black or gold ink pads
  • glue stick or glue dots
  • robin card topper
  • red card blank
  • brown envelopes

Step 1

Tie string or ribbon in a bow at the top of the parcel tag.

Step 2

Stamp your chosen greeting onto the parcel tag. I chose “just a note to say” and “Merry Christmas”, but you can chose whatever words are suitable for you.

Step 3

Glue a robin card topper to the middle of the parcel tag and glue the tag at an angle to the front of the card blank.

I love the idea. Where can I get the robins?

You can buy card toppers (that’s the motifs that you stick on cards) from places such as The Works and Hobbycraft in the UK. They are very inexpensive and make card making really easy.
