Greetings cards with owls

You can make this owl greetings card using any colour or texture of paper of your choosing. I reused off-cuts of paper, an old folder and some wooden buttons to create mine, making it very economical to make.

Children should be supervised by adults, if they want to make this project.

How to create an owl greetings card, step-by-step

You will need:

  • papers of your choice
  • card blank and envelope
  • bradawl
  • brads
  • buttons
  • craft knife or scissors
  • glue or craft stick
  • paperclip
  • thick embroidery wool and needle (optional)
  • pens

    I love these! They’re full of character. I like the fact you can recycle bits and bobs to make such a good-looking bird.
