Create dividers for your recipe scrapbook

I’ve designed a very simple technique to make section dividers for your recipe journal. With these dividers, you can easily move to the relevant section in your scrapbook.

It’s also great for using up your scraps of craft paper left over from other projects.

To make them, I used a circular punch, a heart punch and a flower punch. But you can choose whatever you’d like to use. Or just use scissors to cut out shapes. Adding the eyelet is also optional.

Recipe journal divider

You will need:
Kraft cream page scrapbook (I bought mine from Paperchase)
Scraps of craft paper
Craft punches (I used circles, hearts and flowers)
Craft glue and old paintbrush
Eyelet tool and eyelets, (I used a Crop-A-Dile Eyelet and Snap Punch)

I bought some of my supplies from Hobbycraft and some from Paperchase

Step-by-step instructions for making recipe scrapbook dividers

1. Cut circles, hearts and flowers from your chosen selection of craft papers.

2. Layer the shapes on top of each other and glue them together with craft glue, before gluing on either side of the section page. Make sure they line up. Space the dividers so that they are easily visible when the scrapbook is closed.

3. When the glue is dry, punch a small hole and add an eyelet to the middle. This is optional.
