This is the final page of my Alice in Wonderland art journal where Alice visits the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. All materials and links are listed below.

You can watch the full playlist on YouTube for the Alice in Wonderland journal here: Alice in Wonderland Journal Playlist YouTube

For this project I used the following materials:

For the background:
Watercolour Block Fabriano Artistico Extra White 12×18″ 140lb Hot Pressed (Hot Pressed means it is smooth paper)
Fine, medium and large watercolour brushes
Watercolour paints: White gouache, Indigo
Cloth
Two pots of water (one for cleaning brushes the other for mixing paint)
(Inexpensive watercolours and related materials can be bought from Hobbycraft)
PVA glue and old brush to glue elements in place
Craft knife and cutting mat

For the Queen of Hearts, White Rabbit and Alice images:
Alice in Wonderland stamps (try Etsy or Ebay for Alice stamps)
or download images for free from: John Tenniel free image download
Tracing paper and pencil
Fine black artists pen (that doesn’t smudge or bleed into the paper! I used Faber Castell)
Watercolour paints: Indigo, Alizarin Crimson, Cobalt Blue, Raw Sienna
(Other materials as listed above)

For the hearts and flowers
Scraps of red, white and pink card
Distress inks
